Getting Married

If you are planning on marriage, and wish to hold your wedding in one of our churches, or you wish to have your wedding vows (made in a Registry Office) blessed in a Service of Blessing, please contact the Church Warden.

If you are considering getting married in an Anglican church, and want to know what is involved, then please take a look at The Church of England’s website which explains what is understood by ‘Christian marriage’, what the church service involves, and some of the legal matters you should consider.

A very useful source of information about all sorts of aspects of getting married in the Church of England can be found at Your Church Wedding. This site also has a very useful wedding ceremony planner.
